Spicy Tawa Mushroom

Ingredients

Mushroom 250 gram
Garlic (lahsan) 4-5 cloves
Ginger (adrakh) 1” piece
Onion (payaz) 1 medium
Almond (badam), soaked 1/4 cup
Mustard oil (sarso ka tel) 3 table spoon
Curd (Dahi) 2 table spoon
Turmeric (haldi) powder 1/4 tea spoon
Black pepper (kali mirch) 1/2 tea spoon
Red chilli (lal mirch) powder 1 tea spoon
Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat mustard oil in a pan and deep fry onions till they turn golden brown in colour.
  2. Remove it from flame and drain on an absorbent paper and keep aside.
  3. Transfer onions in a blender jar, add almonds, garlic and ginger and blend it to a smooth paste.
  4. Mix curd to this mixture and keep aside.

How to proceed

  • 1. Clean and wash mushrooms. Rub it properly with a cotton cloth and keep aside.
  • 2. Take little oil in tawa, add mushrooms fry them and keep aside.
  • 3. Heat the oil in same tawa, add the prepared spices paste mixture along with turmeric, chilli powder, black pepper and salt and cook on a slow flame in the center of tawa.
  • 4. Add fried mushrooms to this spice mixture and stir-fry, until they blend with the paste and turn brown.
  • 5. Serve the "Spicy Tawa Mushroom" hot with Nan.
