Ingredients |

| Boneless chicken (cubed) | 500 gm |
For Tikka |
|
| Plain yoghurt (dahi) | ¼ cup |
| Lemon juice (nimboo ka ras) | 2 table spoon |
| Chopped coriander (hara dhaniya) | ¼ table spoon |
| Garlic (Lahsan) paste | 2 table spoon |
| Ginger (adrakh) paste | 2 table spoon |
| Chilli (lal mirch) powder | 2 tea spoon |
| Salt (namak) | to taste |
| Turmeric (Haldi) | ½ tea spoon |
| Hot spices (Garam masala) | 1 tea spoon |
| Chopped green chillies (hari mirch) | ½ tea spoon |
For Gravy |

| Tomatoes (tamater), chopped | ½ cup |
| Onion (payaz), sliced | 1 |
| Ginger (adrakh) chopped | ½ tea spoon |
| Garlic (lahsan) crushed | ½ tea spoon |
| Green chillies (hari mirch) chopped | 2-3 pieces |
| Brown sugar | 1 table spoon |
| Hot spices (garam masala) | 1 tea spoon |
| Turmeric powder (haldi) | ½ tea spoon |
| Chilli powder (lal mirch) | ½ tea spoon |
| Vegetable oil | 2 table spoon |
| Coriander leaves (hara dhaniya), chopped | 2 table spoon |
Instructions
- Clean and wash chicken cubes and keep it aside.
- Mix yogurt, lemon juice, chopped coriander, garlic paste, ginger paste, chilli powder, salt, turmeric, hot spices and chopped green chillies in a bowl.
- Mix the marinade ingredients in a bowl and add chicken. Stir well and keep it in refrigerator for 8 hours.
- After 7-8 hours place chicken pieces on plate, cover with marinade and place in a microwave at 100% power for 6-7 minutes.
- Then grill it for next 7-8 minutes or till the chicken becomes golden and soft.
- Once done keep it aside.
For Gravy
- 1. Heat ghee in a pan and fry onions for 5 minutes.
- 2. Now add ginger and garlic and cook it for further 2-3 minutes. Add tomatoes and green chillies and cook it for sometimes.
- 3. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, hot spices, brown sugar and salt and cook it for some times. Add little water, cover and simmer this mixture for 10-15 minutes.
- 4. Turn off the heat and grind the mixture in a food processor.
- 5. Again reheat the same pan and put ground spices in it.
- 6. Now add chicken pieces mix it well and cook it for next 5-7 minutes.
- 7. Now switch off the flame and garnish it with coriander leaves and serve “Chicken Tikka with gravy” with “Nan” or “Roti”.
