Goan Cabbage

Ingredients

Cabbage (band gobhi), finely sliced 2 cups
Onion (payaz), chopped 5-6 table spoons
Ginger (adrakh), chopped 1 tea spoon
Garlic (lahsan), chopped 1 tea spoon
Green chillies, chopped 2 table spoon
Coconut (nariyel) grated 5-6 table spoons
Salt (namak) to taste

 

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onion till they become pink in colour.
  2. Now add the ginger, garlic, green chillies and stir it for a minute.
  3. Then add cabbage and adjust salt.
  4. Cook it covered over low flame for 7-8 minutes or till done.
  5. Keep stirring in between and if required add little water.
  6. Now add grated coconut cook it for1 or 2 minutes and put the flame off.
  7. Serve cabbage curry with rice and vegetable of your choice.
