Solkadhi

Ingredients

Kokam halves 5 to 6
Green chillies (hari mirch) 2 tea spoon
Ginger (adrakh) chopped ¼ tea spoon
Roasted Cumin (Jeera) powder ¼ tea spoon
Coriander leaves(hara dhaniya) finely chopped 2 table spoon
Salt To taste

Instructions

  1. To help get your Sol Kadhi the right baby pink color, soak the Kokam halves in warm water for about half an hour. This helps them turn reddish pink. 
  2. Thereafter, extract Kokam juice from the halves by squeezing them properly.  
  3. Now add chopped green chillies, coriander leaves and garlic and mix them. 
  4. Then add roasted cumin and salt to taste. 
  5. Keep it in the refrigerator (It tastes good without cooling too!)
