Coriander Tomato Fish Curry (low calorie)

Ingredients

Fish (macchli) washed & sliced 500 gm
Coriander leaves, (hara dhaniya) chopped 1 cup
Tomatoes  (tamatar) finely chopped 2
Garlic cloves (Lahsan ke ) 8-10 pieces
Green chillies (hari mirch) chopped 2
Fenugreek seed (methi dane) ½  tea spoon
Coriander (dhaniya) powder 1 tea spoon
Turmeric Powder (haldi) ½  tea spoon
Salt (namak) to taste
Mustard Oil  ( sarso tel) 1 tea spoon

Instructions

  1. Marinate fish in salt and turmeric powder for 15 minutes.
  2. Brush it with ¼ tea spoon of oil.
  3. Cook fish in microwave at 100% power for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Now grill fish on grill mode for 4-5 minute and keep aside.
  5. Grind coriander leaves, garlic and green chillies in a blender.
  6. Heat oil in a separate pan, and add fenugreek seeds and let it cook for 30 seconds.
  7. Now add prepared paste in pan and cook it for some times.
  8. Add tomatoes, turmeric and coriander powder and fry till oil begins to float on top.
  9. Add about 1 cup water. Bring gravy to a boil.
  10. Add grilled fish slices and cook this for 5-7 minutes.
  11. Serve fish curry hot with boiled rice.
