Palak ka Soup

Ingredients

Spinach (palak) 1 bunch
Tomato ( tamater) puree 1 cup
Milk (doodh) ½ cup
Onion (payaz) finely chopped 1 table spoon
Black pepper (kali mirch) ¼ tea spoon
Salt (namak) to taste
Low fat butter (makhhan) 1 tea spoon

Method

  • 1. Boil spinach with little water and grind it in a blender jar.
  • 2. Heat butter in a pan.
  • 3. Add onion and stir till it becomes pink.
  • 4. Now add spinach and tomato puree along with 4 cups of water.
  • 5. Let it simmer for 10- 12 minutes then add milk.
  • 6. Add salt and black pepper and cook till the soup becomes little thick.
  • 7. Now put the flame off and serve it.
