Ingredients – for kofta |
|
| Reduced fat cottage Cheese (paneer) mashed | 100 gm |
| Mixed vegetables grated | 1 cup |
| Steamed Potatoes (aalo) | 1 boiled |
| Onion (Pyaz) chopped | 4-5 table spoon |
| Green chillies (Hari Mirch) finely chopped | 5 |
| Coriander leaves (Hara Dhaniya) chopped | ½ tea spoon |
| Raisins (Kismis) | 2-3 tea spoon |
| Corn starch | 2 table spoon |
For Gravy |

| Skim yogurt (dahi) | 1/2 cup |
| Onion (Pyaz) paste | 1 big Onion |
| Green chillies (hari mirch) finely chopped | 2-3 |
| Ginger- garlic (adark-Lahasun) paste | 2 table spoon |
| Coriander leaves (Hara Dhaniya) | ½ tea spoon |
| Red chilli (laal mirch) powder | ½ tea spoon |
| Hot spices (Garam masala ) | 1 tea spoon |
| Coriander powder (dhaniya powder ) | 1 tea spoon |
| Turmeric powder (Haldi) | ½ tea spoon |
| Cumin seeds (jeera) | ½ tea spoon |
| Salt (Namak) | To taste |
| Canola oil | 1 table spoon |
For Garnish |

| Reduced Fat cheese (Paneer) grated | 1 table spoon |
| Coriander leaves (Hari Dhaniya) chopped | ½ tea spoon |
Instructions
- Mix together all ingredients of Kofta except raisins and corn flour.
- Make small balls (kofta) putting 2-3 raisins in the center.
- Brush koftas with little olive oil.
- Put these in an oven, preheated to a temperature of 200 degree C for 6-8 minutes.
For Gravy
- 1. In a bowl take yogurt, red chilli powder, garam masala, green chillies, coriander powder and turmeric powder and mix well and keep aside.
- 2. Mix remaining gravy ingredients (except coriander leaves) in a grinder and grind to a paste.
- 3. Heat a non-stick skillet and add oil. Now add onion, garlic- ginger paste in oil.
- 4. Cook it for 5-7 minutes and then add yogurt mixture in it. Cook it in medium heat till the oil gets separated.
- 5. Add water and cook it for 10 minutes or till the gravy becomes thick. Mix chopped coriander leaves.
- 6. Place koftas in a bowl and pour gravy over them.
- 7. Garnish kofta with some grated paneer and chopped coriander.
Tip
- If Kofta looks soft , add some more cornflour to avoid breaking.
