Cauliflower with Garlic Sauce

Ingredients

Cauliflower florets (Gobi) 2 cups
Garlic (lahsan), crushed 2 -3 table spoon
Green chilies (hari mirch), chopped 1 table spoon
Onion (payaz) chopped 3-4 table spoon
Black pepper (kali mirch) 1 tea spoon
Red chilli powder (lal mirch) ½ tea spoon
Olive oil 1 table spoon
Honey (shahad) 4 tea spoons
Soya sauce 1 tea spoon
Vinegar (sirka) 3 table spoons
Fresh parsley, chopped 1 table spoon

Method

  • 1. In a large saucepan with steamer rack, steam cauliflower over boiling water for 8 to 10 minute.
  • 2. In a small saucepan, heat olive oil and add chopped onion, crushed garlic and green chillies and cook it for 5 minute.
  • 3. Now add steamed cauliflower and cook it for 3-4 minutes.
  • 4. In a separate bowl mix honey, vinegar, salt, black pepper, red chilli powder and chopped parsley and 2 table spoon of water. Add this to cauliflower and mix quickly.
  • 5. Serve it hot.
