Coriander Tomato Fish Curry (low calorie)

Ingredients

Fish (macchli) washed & sliced 500 gm
Coriander leaves, (hara dhaniya) chopped 1 cup
Tomatoes  (tamatar) finely chopped 2
Garlic cloves (Lahsan ke ) 8-10 pieces
Green chillies (hari mirch) chopped 2
Fenugreek seed (methi dane) ½  tea spoon
Coriander (dhaniya) powder 1 tea spoon
Turmeric Powder (haldi) ½  tea spoon
Salt (namak) to taste
Mustard Oil  ( sarso tel) 1 tea spoon

Method

  • 1. Marinate fish in salt and turmeric powder for 15 minutes.
  • 2. Brush it with ¼ tea spoon of oil.
  • 3. Cook fish in microwave at 100% power for 3-4 minutes.
  • 4. Now grill fish on grill mode for 4-5 minute and keep aside.
  • 5. Grind coriander leaves, garlic and green chillies in a blender.
  • 6. Heat oil in a separate pan, and add fenugreek seeds and let it cook for 30 seconds.
  • 7. Now add prepared paste in pan and cook it for some times.
  • 8. Add tomatoes, turmeric and coriander powder and fry till oil begins to float on top.
  • 9. Add about 1 cup water. Bring gravy to a boil.
  • 10. Add grilled fish slices and cook this for 5-7 minutes.
  • 11. Serve fish curry hot with boiled rice.
