Cucumber Halwa (low fat)

Ingredients
Cucumber (kheera)grated 1 cup
Low fat milk (doodh) 1 cup
Milk powder of low fat milk 2 table spoon
sugar supplement (cheeeni) 2 table spoon
Cardamom (elaichi) powder ¼ tea spoon
Clarified butter (ghee) ¼ tea spoon
Raisins (Kismish)

Method

  • 1. Wash and peel one cucumber, grate it and squeeze out water.
  • 2. Boil cucumber with milk for 15 minutes or till milk dries completely.
  • 3. Heat 1 tea spoon of clarified butter and add cucumber and sauté for 5 minutes.
  • 4. Add cardamoms, milk powder and sugar supplement and keep on stirring. Cook it for 2-3 minutes and when it is done, remove it from flame and garnish it with raisins.
