Sesame Gold Coins

Ingredient

White bread slices  8 slices
Sesame seeds toasted(til) 1/2 cup
 Potatoes, boiled and mashed (aalo)  2 medium
 White pepper (safed mirch)
1/2 tea spoon
Green capsicum (shimla)chopped 2-3 table spoon
Onion  chopped (pyaaz) 2 table spoon
Garlic crushed(lahsan) 1 tea spoon
Green chillies chopped(hari Mirch) 1 tea spoon
Fresh coriander leaves chopped (hara dhania) 1 table spoon
Butter (makhhan) 1 table spoon
Soya sauce 1 tea spoon
Corn flour 1 tea spoon

Method

  • 1. Cut the bread slices into roundels.
  • 2. Take mashed potatoes in a bowl. Add green capsicum, onion, garlic, green chillies, coriander leaves, white pepper powder, soya sauce and salt and mix well.
  • 3. Spread the mixture on each bread roundel generously. Sprinkle some sesame seeds over the potato mixture and press gently.
  • 4. Lightly roll in corn flour. Brush it with little butter.
  • 5. Set oven at 200 C (pre heated) and place gold coins on grill rack. Bake it for 12 -15 minutes.
  • 6. Serve it with chutney of your choice.
